    its knowledgeable…but i wud like to noe the name of the red pigment present in the roots of carrot that has an affinity for oxygen…que 11…

      the ans must be soyabean which belongs to th family fabacae. carrot must be wrong..legumes like soyabean has a pigment called leghaemoglobin which has a higher affinity towards oxygen.
