i m confusing in question no 1 due to giving word “excess intake”. please explain it.

    • karan

i agree wid shivraj..coz hypovitaminosis of vitA causes keratosis.so it should be less intake instead of excess intake

  • kashish

in que 14,how come the stomach is a correct match wid cardiac glands??..:O

    • karan

@kashish-stomach consist of 4 parts-upper cardiac(where mucous secreting cardiac glands are present),fundus,corpus/body n pyloric part.

  • shivani

please correct the 8th question. the answer should be vitamin A.

    • Administrator

Yes Shivani the answer is Vitamin A.
Keratinization (accumulation of keratin) of the skin is a common symptom of vitamin A deficiency. Vitamin A deficiency reduces the ability of the immune system, thus growing the vulnerability of the body towards infection. Vitamin A has its predominantly proliferative effect on human epidermis. When the rate of keratinization within the skin of the scalp is more than the normal rate it causes dandruff.
