    Azotobacter is freeliving but it is aerobic according to xi biology mineral nutrition topic. Here they asked the free living anaerobic so we have to go with rhodospirillum

    In Q-8 Azotobacter is also a free living N fixer.So why that option is not correct

      Examples of free living N-fixing AEROBIC MICROBES are Azotobacter and Beijernickia “WHILE RHODOSPIRILLUM IS ANEROBIC…”
      Question is asking about Anerobic one.
