Motivation theories: Definition of Motivation

For a student, motivation is the desire or need to be successful in the learning process. A motivated student shows enthusiasm, optimism, curiosity with concentration and initiate action when given the opportunity. Whereas a less motivated student try less and give up hopes early in the face of challenges. Motivation is a subject to numerous factors. It is dynamic and continuous.
