    Q. 14 has both statements correct and the reason is pretty much valid…..no idea why it’s marked wrong

  • vikz gehlot

in q.no 14.is really doubtfully…the reason is correct “Both bacteria and yeast multiply very fast to form huge population, which express the desired gene.”..so y the ans is different..

  • shaikh afira

i am very confused about q.14 …is it correct?

    • ke$h@v $ethi

no the assertion is wrong because recombination is done in human dna using vectors like bacteria and yeast n reason is wrong because its not the desired gene that comes in every progeny

    • @khan

yeah question no 14 is almost correct because we aften transfer human gene to prokaryotic like bacteria not to yeast so the first is wrong and the second one is already cause its relate to first ….

    • @khan

yeah this one is right cause we are not transfer human gen into Eukaryots like yeast

i have a doubt in 15th question… how A could be the reason for B??? could anyone explain please…

    • Naveed

Simple,In the s phase of cell cycle the dna or chromosome is replicated and metaphase chromosome consists of two chromatids becoz the second chromatid is the the one formed or synthesized durind s phase,, is it clear now?
