    This quiz would be be more effective if you would mention answers of the following questions….still it is a good way to examine yourself….one more idea I would like to advise you to provide questions of the current NEET and AIIMS pattern….it would be more effective and accurate …keep it up

    Camels have a long neck due to presence of vertebral discs between each vertebrae I guess and not because their cells are of larger size. Read somewhere on the internet…Please someone confirm.

    All the phyla from annelida are eucoelomates. Therefore annelida , arthropoda, mollusca, echinodermata , hemi-chordata, chordata all contains organisms with true coelom……therefore mollusca and annelida are correct

    molluscan coelom is very small being restricted to the areas of heart and gonads. some zoologists suggest that molluscan coelom is not homologous to the conspicuous coelomic cavities of annelids,sea urchins etc.

      bcs coelom in case of molluscs is often reduced to haemocoel & surrounds heart, nephridia,&gonads

    Admin. will you clarify my doubt in Que No. 3 as both molluscans and annelida are true coelomates (schizocoelomates).
    Plz let me know !!!

      Molluscans have coelom but its not true coelom, which shouldve been covered by a peritonium and filled with coelomic fluid, instead it is filled with blood. hence, not called true coelom but actually heamocoel.

      monotreme or monotremata is a subclass of class mammalia…these are egg laying primitive mammals show many characters of their reptilian descent ..like large yolky eggs,wellformed coracoid in pectoral girdle,etc..EX:-Tachyglossus,Ornithorhynchus..
